**SO CAL DNA/DNR ALERT** KIMI PECK, of disgusting chihuahua hoarding fame is back on the rescue scene with a new FB page called "Chihuahua Rescue Beverly Hills". PLEASE DO NOT give this woman dogs, pull for her, fake adopt for her, etc. …DO NOT help her obtain any more pups. Simple Google check turns up all you need to know about Ms Peck’s "rescue" standards and practices. Please ‘flag/report’ her FB page and PM Angels for Animals Network immediately if you see her on any of our threads so we can ban her. Thank you and please help keep animals out of dangerous irresponsible hands. xx
One of the pictures Kimi Peck has decided to use to promote herself as a ‘rescuer’, again, with Allison Sweeney was taken ten years ago – since this picture was taken, Peck has been legally forced out of Burbank and Kern County due to animal related neglect. We highly doubt that Alison Sweeney would be promoting Kimi Peck now. Kimi Peck is NOT an animal rescuer. She is an animal hoarder.
We decided to re-post a blog written by Bakersfield.com’s, James Burger, back in January of 2010. Kimi Peck is not only an animal hoarder, she’s also, as we have stated over and over again, CRAZY. This blog will confirm that Kimi Peck is CRAZY. She’s always blaming somebody for her hoarding addiction. Here she blames retired County Supervisor, Don Maben
posted by Jburger on Jan 5, 2010 at 02:38 PM The hearing on Peck has begun. Engineering and Survey Services Director Chuck Lackey is making his report to the board. "We have determined that the keeping of approximately 170 dogs is not incidental to the use of the residential site," Lackey said. That means, basically, that the dogs aren’t there because Peck lives there but Peck lives there so she can keep the dogs there. That, Lackey said, is a violation of county ordinances. "She was informed that she could not keep the animals on the property unless she got a conditional use permit," Lackey said. Report Violation posted by Jburger on Jan 5, 2010 at 02:43 PM Peck told the county this morning that she removed around 40 dogs At the previous hearing Peck argued that the pets are her personal property, Lackey said, and that she is keeping old, injured and unwanted animals to live out their lives. That is, Lackey said, the definition of an animal shelter according to county law. "The housing of the animals has become the primary use of the property," Lackey said. To maintain a shelter on the property, Lackey said, Peck has to have a conditional use permit. But she has refused to apply for one. Even if the license issue is resolved that does not resolve the land use problems on the property, Lackey said. Report Violation posted by Jburger on Jan 5, 2010 at 02:58 PM Peck is arguing that county ordinances "Stop this witch hunt. Don’t make me sue you. Stop these fines now," Peck said. "How much did Michael Goland pay you." (Michael Goland is Susan Marlowe’s ex-husband and Peck has repeatedly accused county officials of being paid off by Goland to harass her.) Pecks calling the board corrupt and "unbelieveably cruel." "Just try and fine me," she dared supervisors. "try." Property owner Susan Marlowe up to speak. She said the ordinance allows the breeding and raising of animals is allowed on the property. Note: Peck said in the hearing that the animals are old and unlovely and are just on the property to live out their lives. Report Violation posted by Jburger on Jan 5, 2010 at 03:01 PM Marlowe said she has eviction proceedings started against Peck. Janet Wingfield, Kimi Peck’s supporter, is speaking. "I think she has been chased down like a rabid dog," Wingfield said. Report Violation posted by Jburger on Jan 5, 2010 at 03:07 PM "There is conspiracy against Ms. Peck," Wingfield said. Wingfield is accusing the county of conspiring with people who destroyed a water tank on Peck’s Water Canyon Road property. She’s accusing county animal control officers of falsifying court documents to try and get Kimi Peck. She and Peck both acused Supervisor Don Maben of vowing to get Kimi Peck in any way possible. Report Violation posted by Jburger on Jan 5, 2010 at 03:14 PM It’s back to staff. Ted James is speaking. He said Marlowe’s comments about animal breeding is in ordinances Before Peck left the Water Canyon Road property, James said, he and Lackey made it very clear that zone "She acknowledged that she needed to get a conditional use permit," James said. "There is no witch hunt. There is no sidestepping." Lackey said Peck is arguing that animal control regulations allow her to choose between licensing her dogs and getting a conditional use permit. But the county is arguing that she is violating land use laws — not animal control laws. They brought action against Peck, Lackey said, because "It appeared that Ms. Peck was ignoring our requirements to comply." "She moved to another piece of property and we started all over again," he said. He said they want Peck to keep the animals. But they also want her to comply with county zoning laws. Report Violation posted by Jburger on Jan 5, 2010 at 03:26 PM "We wouldn’t be here today if you had listened to staff and applied for a conditional use permit," Maben told Peck. "You picked a good location to move your dogs to." He called for a $5,000 fine against both Peck and Marlowe and an ongoing $500 fine against both – but freeze the penalty for 30 days to give Peck a chance to apply for a conditional use permit. "Why would I get a permit on a house I don’t own," Peck shouted from the audience. She said the house she lives in was sold at auction Tuesday morning. But Maben said he does not have that fact in evidence and can’t rely on it to make a decision today. County lawyer Bruce Divelbiss recommended that the supervisors might push back action on the issue until more information is produced. Peck just about got removed from the building by the Sheriff’s deputy in the back because she talked over supervisors and refused to leave the podium. There should be due notice for any buyer of the property, Lackey said. Supervisors delayed the issue until Feb. 9.
If a woman is found unfit in a Court of Law (according to her son) to be a mother, how can she be ‘fit’ to care for hundreds of animals? Thanks to Chris G who offered some insight on his ‘lack’ of relationship with his animal hoarding mother, Kimi Peck. We are posting this because we think it’s important for people to see that Peck abandoned her own two sons and now her granddaughter. She’s done the same to many animals. Let’s stop her from neglecting anymore!
Some of Chris G’s statement. Though he gave us permission to use his last name, we decided not to because he is such a nice guy. Oh, Chris was raised by his father and stepmother. Chris said his stepmom was great! Thanks, Chris! "I think it’s definitely obvious though that she has problems… Well there were certainly times when her house in Burbank that I would stay in when I was younger over the summer months was more than disgusting…I think it’s definitely obvious though that she has problems and also the psyche of a child that wants to get her way but can’t…I met that lady Janet a couple years ago and she was such a strange woman…It never really occured to me at a young age that there was anything wrong with the animals situation but now that I think back to it it’s pretty obvious…And to be honest I don’t really want a relationship with her anymore because it always seems to be more trouble then it’s worth…Yeah I really doubt she will be getting any help for her problems because she has lived in a weird state of denial all of her life and I doubt she is about to change any of that sometime soon…No Kimi never had custody over either of us because it was pretty much proven in court that she was unfit to be a mother…she didn’t even take care of her flesh and blood animals let alone some little dogs. Animal Hoarder Kimi Peck, 63, has a new alias, Cole Storribro – from Riverside California. Here is Kimi Peck’s latest description of Kimi Peck: ‘quite probably the most dedicated and selfless animal recuer and advocate ever: the successful and talented screenwriter, producer and former daughter-in-law of actor Gregory Peck, Ms. Kimi Peck.’
Thanks to everybody who has sent e-mails to Hoardingchihuahuas alerting us that Kimi Peck is actively and desperately seeking donations and animals to keep up her animal hoarding lifestyle AND addiction! Please, do NOT give Kimi Peck or anybody associated with her money and/or especially animals. We must not forget about Peck’s history of hoarding and alleged abuse/neglect – Remember this: Nearly Blind Chihuahua and Almost 200 Other Animals Now Safe – At Chihuahua Rescue in Tehachapi, Calif., The Humane Society of the United States and Kern County Animal Control rescued approximately 150 dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to border collies, 18 cats, 10 chickens, and several rabbits. The dogs will be available for adoption at the Sacramento SPCA. One small long-haired Chihuahua named George especially tugged at the rescuers’ heartstrings. A veterinarian discovered that his eyes were so badly infected that he was nearly blind. In spite of what must have been confusing changes that he couldn’t see, George gave friendly kisses and trusting tail wags to everyone who handled him. This rescue was a success for George and the other animals, but we rescued more animals in distress this week in Montana, and there will be more after that.

Even though Peck claimed over and over again to news reports and government officials that she was NOT operating a kennel in her ‘home/warehouse’ housing over 200 animals since 2006, according to tax returns filed by ‘volunteer’ accountant SUSAN MARLOWE, CPA, from 2006 through 2009, the Dog Angels aka Chihuahua Rescue made over $700,000.00 in donations. However, the last tax return filed by Susan Marlowe, CPA, in 2009, Dog Angels made close to $80,000.00…even though Peck claimed most of the over 200 dogs were ‘special needs’, Peck spent less than $300.00 on vet services. Peck spent the majority of the donated money for the animals on herself. The tax return also claimed ’25 dogs were adopted out’. Marlowe claimed the number was so low because Peck was moving to ‘another part of Los Angeles’. Los Angeles wants to know where in their county Peck is and has been operating a kennel since she was legally forced out in 2005… In other words, Peck has been operating illegally…
