She was transported from Los Angeles to Mojave – she will be arraigned in Mojave for threatening her public defender (she denies doing this) – Then she will be arraigned in Bakersfield for Animal Cruelty (she denies these allegations, too).

We were told 7 kittens were euthanized due to the fact that they were extremely sick. Let’s hope Oxnard files charges against this crazy woman.

Crazy lady has different wigs (blonde, brunette and red) she wears. She allegedly carries prescription medications that are prescribed to other people. We KNOW she has animals with her and she constantly changes the license plates on her car. The car she is driving, though she very well could have traded it in, is a 4 door black/dark green color 1998 4-door 318I BMW. The plates on the car are stolen and change most likely weekly. She LOVES and is ADDICTED TO WATCHING MURDER MYSTERY MOVIES.

Permission to cross post. Dear Animal Advocates, You may recall my email a couple of weeks ago entitled "DNA WARNING Peck, Gilbert, Marlowe ALL DNA’S". Within a day or two I received a "cease and desist" from Marlowe’s attorney. This email will focus specifically on Marlowe’s relationship with Anita Gilbert (in Kern County), who is also known as Barbara Ryan (in Riverside County). I will present quotes herein and I have attached the full court documents from which they came. I have also included some very graphic photos. Please scroll all the way down to see them. In October of 2006 a woman named Barbara Ryan was discovered in Riverside keeping animals in conditions that were so disgusting it’s hard to even read about. Animal Control officer Lesley Huennekens wrote the following in her report after the seizure of these animals: "…In some places debris was several feet deep…The stench in the house made me nauseous and burned my eyes, nose and throat…We then entered a bathroom and found a dog tied with a cable inside the bathtub. There was no food or water available to the dog…In another room, we found two Chihuahua mixed dogs, each trapped inside an animal carrier. Both carriers were so full of feces and *censored*roaches that they could not stand up. The dogs appeared to malnourished as I could see the rib and hip bones as well as the entire spine" Susan Marlowe, CPA and President of Dogs At Home Inc (and accountant for Kimi Peck,Chihuahua Rescue aka Dog Angels) petitioned the courts and was granted custody of those animals. Marlowe stated: "We will hold these animals until we are told we can adopt them out and find them good homes." In granting the release of the 14 dog and 21 cats the court states that" the animals not be returned to Barbara Ryan either directly or indirectly." After reviewing the case, Riverside issued an arrest warrant for felony animal cruelty but Gilbert/Ryan disappeared. Fast forward to July 2008. A woman named Anita Gilbert is arrested in Tehachapi for keeping 52 animals in deplorable conditions and 14 more in the freezer while living on a property of Susan Marlowe. This Tehachapi property was purchased by Marlowe within a couple of months of the 2006 "bust" of Gilbert/Ryan’s property in Riverside County. In Brian Pitts’, of the Environmental Health Services Department, written decision regarding the case he cites Animal Control registered veterinary technician Lori Beaver, a vet tech for "thirty-four years" as describing conditions inside the building "as the most horrendous I’ve ever seen". Riverside County officials went to Kern County and positively identified Gilbert as Ryan. At this time they are also able to confirm that these were many of the SAME animals that were released to Susan Marlowe in 2006. Marlowe then BAILS RYAN aka GILBERT OUT OF JAIL and Gilbert/Ryan evades the law once again. These poor dogs and cats have suffered years of abuse and neglect. It is unconscionable that they were to end up back in the hands of their abuser, Gilbert/Ryan. Judging by the documents this was facilitated by Susan Marlowe. These poor animals were taken out of a deplorable situation only to end up back in a prison of filth, and neglect. The cats were infested with, not fleas, but roaches. A Rottweiler mix was chained up in a kitchen cabinet so tight he could not move and without food or water. Others were burned by their own accumulated urine in their tiny crates having no where else to lay but in their own waste. Many had atrophied hind leg muscles because they were not able to stand in their cages. Reading all of the documents is haunting and nothing short of sickening. I am so saddened by how these poor animals lived. Now they are going to be held as evidence while the noted parties continue to fulfill their desperate need for control by appealing the case, making pleas of abuse by animal control, and filing lawsuits and restraining orders. I believe their purpose is to drag this out as long as possible and make sure it is about their own (perceived) victimization. All the while the animals sit in cages in the shelter, scared and not knowing what the future holds for them. Again, please REMEMBER the following names as DO NOT ADOPT: Susan K. She uses many different names – she acquired her most recent name,ANITA GILBERT, from a woman who passed away from Cancer in the past year – a woman who was obviously successful in life…This animal abuser stole her identity (including her driver’s license info) and then dragged the name through mud by abusing/neglecting animals in Tehachapi. A few years prior while living in Riverside, California, this animal abuser (she used the name BARBARA RYAN) was charged with abusing animals-she ran from Riverside to Tehachapi – with the help of SUSAN MARLOWE, CPA. She did this before Riverside authorities were able to arrest her. Sadly, Susan Marlowe was able to petition the Riverside courts to get the animal abusers animals into her own ‘non-profit’ called DOG AT HOME, INC. telling Riverside courts that the dogs will be placed into loving homes. She did this with the help of Charlotte Spadaro, ESQ., former mayor of Beverly Hills, who also has been charged with animal cruelty in Riverside. When Spadaro and Marlowe convinced the courts to give them the animals, Marlowe then takes the animals and gives them back to the person who was charged with abusing them. In addition, Marlowe buys a property in another remote location far from Riverside and helps Animal Abuser assume another identity and enables Animal Abuser to continue to abuse animals. Again, the identity was a woman (late 50’s) who died from Cancer. In 1993, Animal Abuser used the name CYNTHIA GUDGER. She was charged with threatening a Judge in Los Angeles. Same story…she was being evicted from her apartment because she had too many cats AND was also accused of abusing these cats. Kimi Peck (need we say more?), Susan Marlowe, CPA, Beverly Hills (Dog At Home, Inc.), Lucille Otto of Riverside (convicted of animal cruelty back in 2001), Charlotte Spadero, Esq. (former Mayor of Beverly Hills and charged with many counts of animal cruelty in Riverside County) and Barbara Ryan aka Anita Gilbert (who is on the run from both Riverside and Kern Counties for Animal Abuse/Cruelty). These women, though appear to be professional, are people you should totally investigate before you give your animal to or donate any monies to. Read more in the posting below.

We know Susan Marlowe is a CPA with an office in Beverly Hills, California. We also know that she just happens to be Kimi Peck’s ‘volunteer’ accountant. We also know that Ms. Marlowe started a non-profit organization in 2004 called DOG AT HOME, INC., to purchase the Burbank house Ms. Peck was living in with a few hundred animals back in 2004 and 2005 (yes, the same house that was legally forced to shut down by Burbank officials because Ms. Peck received so many violations for her rescuing efforts). Ms. Marlowe also collects donations at her Beverly Hills office for Ms. Peck’s many non-profits that she is operating from her home in Tehachapi without the proper permits: Kimi Peck Sanctuary, The Dog Angels and, of course, the infamous Chihuahua Rescue. We are now learning that Ms. Marlowe is claiming to be an animal rescuer herself WITH an actual FACILITY (we would LOVE to find out where this so called FACILITY is located). Hoardingchihuahuas has obtained paperwork from Riverside Courthouse when Riverside Animal Control busted a woman named Barbara Ryan back in 2006 for ANIMAL ABUSE/CRUELTY. Riverside Animal Control raided Ms. Ryan’s home and found animals living in filthy, deplorable, disgusting, etc., conditions. Barbra Ryan immediately took off from Riverside before they were actually able to arrest her – meaning she was now a WANTED WOMAN in Riverside. Who comes to the rescue of Ms. Ryan’s abused/neglected animals now being taken care of at Riverside shelter? None other than SUSAN MARLOWE and her team of MISFITS (we would also like to call them, in our opinion, HOARDING GYSPIES…LUCILLE OTTO who was convicted of animal cruelty in 2001 and CHARLOTTE SPADERO,ESQ. (former Mayor of Beverly Hills who has been charged with MANY MANY violations stemming from Animal Cruelty, etc., including keeping dead animals at her home in Riverside (court date as of now is October 10). It gets better because Charlotte Spadero not only gave her ‘expert’ opinion thru an actual sworn statement on why she believes Ms. Ryan’s animals should be released to Ms. Marlowe and her SO CALLED ANIMAL RESCUE AND FACILITY, Ms. Spadero also offered complimentary legal services in an attempt to get Ms. Ryan’s animals from Riverside Animal Control/Court into proper homes via Ms. Marlowe’s so called animal rescue (all of this happening while Ms. Ryan was on the run). These charged and even convicted animal abusers were able to convince Riverside court to turn over these animals that were taken from an abusive situation and give the animals to Marlowe’s so called RESCUE AND FACILITY (they claimed they would be given to good homes). What happens next? Ms. Marlowe temporarily boarded these animals at two different vet clinics until Marlowe’s so called RESCUE AND FACILITY took them out of the vets care and well, gave them back to the woman who was charged with abusing them AND now has a warrant out for her arrest, Barbara Ryan (who, by the way, now changed her name to Anita Gilbert). Because Barbara Ryan aka Anita Gilbert was on the run from Riverside officials and had no place to live with her many animals, Susan Marlowe purchases a house in Tehachapi (close to her other ‘rescuer’ client, KIMI PECK) and allowed Ms. Ryan aka Gilbert to live in the house with the animals she was charged with abusing in Riverside. So, Ms. Marlowe, we can safely say, was aiding and abetting Ms. Ryan aka Ms. Gilbert. Two (2) years later in Marlowe’s Tehachapi home, Barbara Ryan aka Anita Gilbert gets busted again for animal cruelty/abuse. She was arrested and released on a LARGE bail (gee, we wonder if Marlowe had anything to do with bailing this nutcase out of jail…). Not surprising, Barbara Ryan aka Anita Gilbert did NOT show up for her court hearings in Tehachapi and is on the run AGAIN. Susan Marlowe and her team of misfits are back at it again, this time in Tehachapi, writing sworn statements to Kern County officials attempting to get Barbara Ryan aka Anita Gilbert’s animals into their ‘care’ (yes, the same animals that were living in hoarding conditions). This time, however, they went so far as to claim the animals will go to a rescue located in Lompac, California, run by a woman named Gwen Francis. The problem is, the so-called sworn statement written by Gwen Francis (that was sent from a fax machine 5 miles from Susan Marlowe’s house) is actually a fraudulent document because Gwen Francis claims she did not write this document (her signature was forged) and did not agree to take on Gilbert’s animals. THESE POOR POOR DOGS AND CATS…
